Hey Paul,
You can come on over tothe "PINK" side:p
Todd
Miatacage.com makes/sells these pre-cut and pre-drilled for screws or rivets.
They are called fire plates.
Real time-savers...

OUCH!!!
I've learned the hard way, if you do buy one, not to let you guys know!!!
I whole-heartedly agree with Paul.
Seriously, this site was very helpful while building a car and continues to...
I'm wanting a cordless impact wrench for Christmas.
But, I plan on carrying a small compressor around for air anyway.
Is the cordless impact a waste of money or worth it?????
Any suggestions...
John gets welcomed, But I get a hard time for getting a Miata???
Since John's going ITA, I better go SM to have any chance at all:lol:
Welcome!
Todd
Since it is black, it's really not a Miata...
It's an MX-5 Roadster.
Todd
I am leaning toward SM for this reason. Can always go ITA if I want to go a little faster.
Greg, That just mean...after all it's Black. (The toughest Miata color:cool:)
Hey......
I could not stand it any longer... I had to get a RWD car.
I know we are biased here, but SM or ITA???
Thanks,
Todd
Thanks Guys,
I've been "coached" I'm probably running too much advance, which I am.
That explains why the car ran so well.
I pulled the head this morning. It is warped.
I'll plan to replace...
Oh yeah...
It's an ITC... CVCC and Carb.
Long post, please bear with me...
I over heated twice and blew two headgaskets this weekend at Barber.
The first occurred Friday during the final practice session.
The car ran cool (180+/-) ...
Although from the AL Region, my unbiased opinion is that this makes perfect sense.
The Clubs' weekend costs and overhead are the same when people withdraw.

Thanks Greg,
Your are absolutely correct.
I do have vented as well.
I misread the original thread, thinking about "drilled" not vented.
Todd
You'll need the solid rotors for the carbed car.
The OE rotors would be solid.
$108?
I recently bought Brembo rotors for $24 ea.
Try BuyBrakes.com.

I got a special at the Drury Inn on US-280 & I-459.
Stayed there last year. It's pretty nice.
$59.00/ night. 10-15 minutes to the track.
(Birmingham is not a Labor Day destination!!!)
Todd
Thanks everyone for the help.
Considering the T&E involved with a fuel cell , I'm going to repair (seal) my OEM tank. A fuel cell underneath will not be higher than 6" off the ground.
It will...
Thanks Dick,
So the can itself serves as a bulkhead?
So I just need to enclose or cover the opening?
Thanks again,
Todd
Not to re-hash the FIA/SFI/Rotary molded debate...
If I use a fuel cell enclosed in a metal container in the hatch area of my car, does the metal can constitute a "bulkhead" or must the entire...
Thanks Greg,
I did read the other threads.
Apparently there is a programming problem with the SCCA website.
I can't get the GCR.
I'll wait until i get back home and defer to my...
I am at work and can't seem to pull up the GCR on-line...
If I change from OE tank to a fuel cell, what are the requirements?
Does the tank have to be SFI or FIA rated?
My thoughts are to...
Hey...I recognize your car from Houston this weekend!!!
Todd
This should be simple enough... but I can't figure out how to drain my Cool-Shirt.
It has "dry-breaks" and they do their jobs very well.
Any suggestions???
Thanks,
Todd
One more Rookie!!!
Todd
How are the A048s in 205-60-13 for as small car?
(ITC- CRX).
There are some listed on the 'bay for $79 each.
Price seems like a steal.
Thanks,
Todd
Could be the old ITC cars up North have rusted away...
while they are still available here in the South...:D
