I totally agree using the best quality bearings/hubs as that's not a place to cheap out. And I won't tackle the insides of a tranny either. But the front wheel bearings aren't rocket...

It appears that SP Tools (Schley Tools http://www.sptool.com/ ) still makes the wheel bearing tool for Audi and Volkswagens.
