I am by no means a hotshoe...but I dont think I have...
yes, that is the reason I know I have more time to gain on the track, as hogspen and turn 10 after the esses are not being taken at 100%. I am working up to it, and will certainly drop seconds off...
Ah, that was a question I was going to ask also. What about running them on both ends? It is a FWD car, and the rear is just along for the ride, but still...
Whatcha think?
just got registered and booked a hotel. I'll be in a black swift. See ya there! :D
well I have read pages and pages of discussion on the difficulty in getting a new car classed competitively. But no need to bring that pile back up...
I think having new cars competing against...
From everything I've read on here, it is difficult to get a new car classed, or classed competitively, No?
"One issue is that a VTS sheet needs to be filled out for a new car to be classed - and it's a decent amount of work for potentially no reward as you don't know if anyone will build one."

Hey! Another suzuki swift in the mix! Post up when you start racing it. Be neat to have two on track at the same time.
The beauty of IT is the variety of cars in the field and the relatively...
I know, driving ability is key.
My comment on SM's was meant as humurous as I constantly hear SM drivers say how slow their cars are on the straightways. :P
The fact that you have no...
ITC cars at 91hp! Ouch...
I realize I still have time to get from the driver, and a few suspension tweaks and such. I was just wondering that when the time comes for more HP, just exactly what...
Well Derek, those are some fast times for ITB.
I'm pretty new to this, but I am hoping to turn some fast times at CMP this weekend.
I'll post them up next week.
From looking at RA results for...
well, Randy Pobst in a Honda Accord in 2001?
I know Road Atlanta is a HP track, wonder what year accord he was running?
I know, I know, but it's Randy...still, gotta have HP to make good numbers...
sounds like gooseneck is a no brainer
Ok, so tag trailers will move you around a lot without a dually, good to know.
With a gooseneck, does the bed have to be permanently modified/cut to fit the receiver? I dont really have any...
oh, maybe I messed up on my post, but the dually is the one with the 4.10 and the SRW has the 3.73. So, the dually is all set up for towing, right out the door.
If the mileage is not very...
I am getting ready to buy either a Dually or SRW. Both are powerdiesels, but the SRW has a taller 3.73 axle and tows 12,500lbs, while the dually has a 4.10 and tows 15,000.
I will be towing,...
ok, great, the washer under the strut tower sounds like a great idea.
Thanks
well the plates are aluminum, so I guess it will be a problem welding the two.
Perhaps I will just invest in some good carrera units, or something like, and have them welded by a shop.
thanks
Of course I notice this just before I'm supposed to race at carolina motorsports park on the weekend.
I had the camber plates custom made by a fellow swift racer in florida. He bolted the plates to...
hey mark, glad to hear about your newfound speed with your VW.
Funny how just when you thought you had a car developed to the hilt, there is something else you can do and gain like 4 seconds a...
thanks, I will go with the NPT nipples and mini-clamps. I appreciate the advice.

Ok, great. My stock one is vacuum referenced, and the AEM is too. Along with being adjustable.
One more quickie is, where do I find the male AN -6 fittings so I can fit my fuel lines?
Ok, so here it is.
I have a lean running motor. If I add this AEM regulator, by splicing it into the return line, will this help me get more more fuel at WOT?
I assumed that even with the stock...
Okay, I understand about cutting the regulator off and removing, but will have to take it to someone to weld a plate on.
I was hoping to leave everything on the car as is, and untouched.
This...
I have a non-adjustable fuel press. reg. on my swift that is permanently attached to the fuel rail. My car runs lean, so I am going out to buy an AEM universal fuel press. reg. to install inline...
