Yikes! I'm still tempted to try the 3.55 trans. It would mean using 2nd more, but so many corners I'm between 2nd and 3rd gears on exit w/the 3.94.
So what happened at ITFest? I was hoping to...
Chris, have you looked into any custom FD gear sets, like a 4.30 or lower?
I won't make MAM with the "Black Death Peon", but I will be there with the "Creamsicle Mullett Mobile", crewing for Dave.
Count me in Chris. For 1, mebbee 2.....
I was wondering what happened to you at IT Fest....
Who's coming to Hallet for the Firecracker Gran Prix, July 4-5???
Entry forms/info here: http://avrg.wichitascca.org/forms.html
2 words - battery relocation! :D
Oh, and -100 lbs for the Peons! :happy204:
Mac, I suppose some of that is a "blinders on" outlook for me. I guess I don't pay enough attention outside of the Midiv. We (the racers) put an awful lot of faith and trust in the ITAC to ensure we...
Sorry to get you riled up, Trav. I agree about the level of prep of some of the Midiv cars, but I really believe the fully prepped 1.8 Miatas are making more power than the multiplier used in "The...
Sorry Andy, that was meant to be a joke. While I do very much appreciate what the ITAC has done over the last few years, and I believe they are doing the right things, I FIRMLY believe the 1.8 ITA...
Please run the 1.8 ITA Miatas thru your new and improved process. :D
Sorry, Jake, just kinda venting. Bought the AS several months ago and really put the ITR V8 thing outta my head, since I thought it was a dead issue. My racing partner was the real impetus for the...
Figures this goes thru after I already acquired the AS Camaro.....
Entry list looks pretty good for the IT crowd. I counted 10 ITA cars, not including school entries....
Mac - Do you know why John only ran half of the C race? Nice Acura, BTW.
Dunno where Brian came from (or if he's on the forums), but he was flying! That was one very fast miata! And well driven...
Lots of new track records, so the cold helped in one regard. Chris...
I *kinda* had fun... finally found the misfire problem, but it was after I retired from Saturday's race. At least the car ran fine for Dave on Sunday.
And the AS Camaro ran fine w/no...

So far, 4 ITS, 4 ITA, 3 ITB, 1 ITR, 1 ITE, no ITC entries.
C'mon peoples, come have some fun at Hallett this weekend! 30% chance of rain, but at least no snow in the forecast! :happy204:
Registration is open for the Reg/Nat/IT Tour races on April 4&5. Optional test day available on Friday thru Stephens Bros. Information and forms available here: http://avrg.wichitascca.org/
I have been reading thru this discussion with some amusement. I'm not planning on an ITS/ITR car, but it seems to me it's boiling down to somewhere between 50lbs and 100lbs difference in the FWD...
Another needlesss answere to a needless question nobody asked?
+1! Cancelling the S/R at Hallett cost the AVRG. With low car turnouts this year, I think we got lucky with the July race weekend, so we may have broken even on the year. As a driver, cancelling...
Dumb question here - Is wheelbase figured in the equation? Should it be?
All the ITA cars except the Neon! :p
