Nick did a 2:14.1 NEW TRACK RECORD! In the race Sunday.
Everybody was flying this weekend. Track records fell in many classes ITS, ITB, ITA I didn't look at ITC.

Track had some nice improvements for the upcoming IndyCar race.

Just to make it official, I set the track record in ITA 2.19.5, the scorekeeper acknowledged the mistake and it will be posted correctly. But it was a good race
I heard that someone lost $50 on a bet, because of a Miata. Is it true? Tom. dave
Yea, but Pete gave me a $2 discount because it finished under yellow and I set the track record ... what a guy !! I thought about the $50 while we were circulating to the yellow checker. One more lap under gree was all I needed. But I did lead all the laps except for the one that counted ....Quote:

At least I knocked a full 2sec off my times from last year...that goes great with the 2ft I knocked off the front of my car.
But on a lighter note, it was a pleasure racing with some top-notch drivers and top-notch people this weekend. I'm tempted to come back up for the Sept. event.
