I put a Longacre in mine. I think I'll put my stock mirror back on and buy the clip on mirror from Western Auto for $10. I have the two mirrors from my FV I'm planning to replace the stock flags with. I have trucker convex mirrors stuck to my flags at this point, I don't like them. A car close by my rear fender looks like it's clearly behind me, but since I know where he is it isn't a big deal. But it's just one more thing to think about. I don't really use the rear view mirror too much, I got by fine in FV with only side mirrors, but it is nice to actually see who and how many cars are drafting you.

Thanks for the advice, guys. I picked up one of those Spa mirrors for driver side since I had to buy a new helmet anyway.
I'll see how it goes after I get this one mounted and run with it and the Longacre. a Wink mirror is cheap and I'll try it next if I don't like the current combination.

I use a wide curved mirror from the local auto parts shop, and love it. I can see out the passenger side rear window, and all the way across the back. I use a spherical driver side to pick up anything on my side. Works great for me.

I've been using the AllView for a few years in the CRX and am very pleased.

It has the same field of view as the Longacre but is not convex and does not have all of the associated distorion. In addition, because the mounting brackets are adjustable and can be flush with the outside edge (as opposed to a few inches inboard of the edge on the Longacre)it's much easier to mount the mirror forward of the cage and closer to the windshield.
Attached is the my view to the rear. Due to the camcorder's wide angle lens you it appears distorted/convex, but the mirror is indeed flat.

Thanks Greg... ...this is what I was looking for. Does it vibrate much?

Not at all. You can look at some of the videos...

Skip the video from the Runoffs and the STU vids from the Glen (which were in another car), but any of the 2008-2010 ITA races will show you how steady it is.

All View - THAT'S the one I use. It's super stable.

Somtimes the dirt is more palatable then a fender bender...

Gregg, I've ordered the one you posted... ...Chris Schaafsma will be happy knowing that I'll see him when he's about to lap me.
Thanks for the link!
