The "fire ring"? Uh oh. Will it be able to be seen from space?
I might come up on Thursday night too, but I don't know. Kind of depends if the cars are ready yet or not. :P

Matt: I will be up Thursday night as well. Ask Mark if you can borrow the new Corona tool!Quote:
Yea, but we're going up on Thursday! So Thurs. night should be fun! I've got a friend coming for the PDX, so as long as he doesn't need help, I'll probably be available to help out Fri. morning. By about Lunch, I'm sure I'll be ready to talk my 'other' official position! Shawn is getting the fire ring ready (THANKS Shawn!) so we should have a kickin fire Fri. night!

Hello everyone,
Just got back from a little R & R in the mountains. We currently have 42 entries.
IT7 1
ITA 12
ITB 9
ITC 3
ITR 1
ITS 6
SM 6
SRF 2
TCC 2
And Dave Gran...... ever considered changing your Honda into something more German? LOL
I'm ~ 1/2 German myself, does that count?
You could paint the family crest from the German 1/2 on the car.
It's look'n like the ITA race is going to be good one! :D I almost don't want to be in it so that I can watch it.Quote:

Well then get the stang into the "B" race... From the looks of it, that will also be a great race!!!
Is it me or in all the classes are the locals (that are not as vocal on this forum) holding out on submitting the registration?
Raymond
Todd: Just noticed in your registration list - we're not running ITE, or is that where the TCC 'Vetts are runing?
LOL... save your breath Ray, I think he's realized just as easily as the rest of the Rustang pilots that they're no match for our superior German machinery!@!%! :D
Fire ring? Does that have anything to do with Wing Night?? ;)
I have to say that I'm a bit surprised with the car counts thus far. What are the typical counts for Mid Ohio events? Or is it just too early and there will be another wave of people entering? I also remember you guys saying there are a few other races close to this one and that maybe part of it?
We should also help promote this on other forums. I posted something over on Honda Tech Announcement
Feel free to copy that and post in other forums.
I talked with quite a few folks this last weekend at Waterford Hills about coming down for the IT Festival. I think there will be more people registering later. I know that Vaughan and I are not the only ones coming!Quote:

Now as far as your superior German Machinery.........
We still have two ITA cars and an ITS car to sign up. I'd say typically around here most people wait until the last three weeks or so to sign up. I don't know why. Don't feel like shelling out the cash for something that's still a month or two away I guess.
Bring it ;)Quote:

I'm the same way, but you can register and pay later. Should be interesting.Quote:

not sure if it is a factor but this event is not part of the regional championship series....
i am still on the fence about this event myself due to Honda Challenge races....
Tom, there are already 9 ITB cars signed up with more to come, I'm sure. Will you race against nine different H5 cars all year? Honestly, I'd expect the ITB field to go over 15 and possibly reach 20. See you in August! :023:Quote:

It's still pretty early for entries, but just wait till word gets out that Downing's buying beer for the Friday night paddock party! :birra:
Bill,
ITE is on the list but no one has signed up yet. Didn't want to put up the goose egg. BTW, it is still a little early. There are a few events in the next couple of weeks locally. I would assume that things will start hopping about the middle of July. Put 4 more on the list 2 ITA, 1 ITS and 1 TCC.
Todd
I'm in!
I myself do not sign up for a race until the previous race is complete and I feel I can get the car ready for the race. Sadly I'm done racing until August:(, happily last weekend was incident free for me:)
Where are the other IT7 Drivers?
I agree. I did that twice last year and wrecked the car each time. :bash_1_:Quote:

Plus my laundry list of "to do" items hasn't been getting any smaller and "ok, I can sign up now" is down there a little bit. :P
