I build my car to meet written rules, not imagined intentions, and I don't support making changes to rules that have served us well for decades just because someone came up with a good solution within those rules.

Sorry dude. This isn't something that has been perfect for decades. The current culture is to torture a rule with an obvious intent and resonable wording. I think the rule in the ITCS is still fine but I am going to submit a request that the definition of traction bar be tightened up. Otherwise, the front end of the RWD cars that roll out of our shop are going to get real complicated, real technilogical, real expensive - and REAL FAST. You think ITS is fast now?
