Velcro secures things pretty firmly. Hell, NASA used it to keep astronauts attached to the space capsules! - GA

Composites have a finite life span, is that addressed any where?
I have read the same rule many times, and see nothing concerning time. yrs, etc.
As it reads, I dont need to add anything.
We really have not found a way to address that issue. Fuel cells, fire systems, window nets also have a finite life what we do is inspect for condition. The only item we force an expiration date on is belts and we rely on SFI and FIA standards for those. I can find no evidence that those standards are based on anything reasonable.
I think we are at visual inspection and personal responsibility.
Thanks Dick,

Our car came with one of these behind the seat for a brace: http://www.ogracing.com/brey-krause-...eat-back-brace
I have no doubt it makes a significant contribution to the porkiness of the car....but it's a nice-looking piece.
Jeez. And they say it attaches to the roll cage or a harness bar like this:

Jeeez, that looks well thought out, stout and up to the task....not!
No Jake - they said "harness bar", not "harness guide bar". You linked the wrong product.
