This seems odd to me. Why wouldn't Sat's am race be set by the 14 min qual sprint? Then those results be used for Sat's pm race.Quote:
Friday: 16 minute qualifying sessions groups 1‐8; lunch break; afternoon: 12 lap or 15 minute qualifying sprints
Sat: 15 laps or 18 minute Regional races groups 1‐8 with grid set by fastest lap in either Friday qualifying; lunch break; then 15 laps or 18 minute Regional races with grid set by morning qualifying race finish position.
For the pm race, is that determined by the fri qual sprint? Or the Sat am race?
Overall, cool format! Like the several different race sessions and keeping them fairly short but not so much so.
Did he ask if the kids were happy drunks or mean drunks?
Thought this was the weekly support meeting of the Fat Old Guys. Sorry.
You can't race on Fridays at LRP? Oh gesh, forgot where we are talking about. Any idea what the rationale is behind that?
Original track charter. along with not allowing the Criminal Element/Hells Angels aka Bikes to race at Lime Rock
Things set in place in another time, still in place because "Its always been that way"
Well, lime rock IS in peoples back yards and it IS about 500' from main straight to a church, so....
When they agreed to allow events there, they came up with restrictions, which are essentially permanent that the track agreed to.
There have been many revisits of that agreement, but the local courts have help pretty firm.
Can't imagine any caring mothers accepting the fact that their children would be in the same area as the 7 crowd:D
As long as the subject is June @ LRP.....
We/NER need to get our equipment trailer to the track.
NHMS to LRP on or before the event
contact me if you can help!
Heres another issue. What time can we get into the track on thursday evening. Is it the same as in the past were we leave a lisence or something at the security shed.
Might be down after registration closes on Thursday evening.
I registered last week on Motor Sports Reg.
IT7 numbers are laggin behind the ITA numbers. tisk tisk. This is a disgrace compared to NHMS.
The beauty of an IT7 is that once it works it stays working.
Unfortunatly that creates laziness, and that translates directly to entering.
I know we are all planning on attending with the exception of the To Hot Too Handle 62, Im still rebuilding that one.
We should have 7, and if Norm and Madison show that bumps the number to 9. No Special guest this week in the #7 car.
See you there,
Dan 77 IT7
Group 1 is shaping up nicely ... 5 ITB + 6 ITR + 6 ITS + 1 T4 = 18
um .... one of the ITR cars registered is Jim Taggart in a Lotus Exige, but I didn't see any Loti on the ITCS ITR chart ..
Taggart, Jim ITR 2006 Lotus Exige Taggart Autosport, Krugspeed Racing Cary, NC

Cary, NC – Among thousands of competitors...Jim Taggart...named the 2012 National SCCA Rookie of the Year.
Competing in a Lotus Exige in the STU class, Taggart qualified for the National Championship Run Offs
at Road America and won the Hard Charger award, finishing 6th and starting 22nd. For 2013, he plans a
Championship bid at the Run Offs and has also moved up to the pro ranks, competing in the Pirelli World
Challenge Championships.
Exige is listed in STU, T1, or T3 yes, but not in any IT classes ... am I missing something

I don't see it in the current (June 2013) GCR or the preliminary July preliminary Tech Bulletin.
