Can the RX7 experts help me please identify this extra diff I have? By my calculations it's a 4.10 (I didn't count the teeth but it took slightly over 4 turns to get the ring gear back around). The ring gear is 7" so it's a NA rear. Is that a clutch type LSD (sorry if that's a stupid question)? If so, is that the factory LSD or ? I saw another picture of what is supposed to be a factory LSD and mine looks a little different. I'm trying to figure out as much as possible about what I have here. Thanks!!

Thanks. That's what I was guessing.
crevolution - welcome to the board. I have an '86 VIN but the sheetmetal is about the only thing '86. On a side note, I saw you might be interested in a 4.10 LSD. I'd be willing to part with this one, I upgraded to the 5.12 a few months ago. This was the diff I had been using in the car, worked good when removed and raced only about 4 hours. I do not have the alum. case, I needed it for the 5.12. I have been going through all my "extras" I don't need. PM if interested, trades considered.

Yes to what Chris said. You can see the disc pack in the first picture near you & in the second second picture at the left hand side.
