What's the max "cars on track" limit for a Pro race at LRP?
Pro who?
I remember IMSA running about 55 cars in one race a few (well, more than a FEW) years ago.
Carnage, carnage everywhere, until the field thinned itself out.

Dave hit it on the head. Pro can basicaly go to what they think is safe.
Club Racing is 38, but the Exec Steward can give a waiver- it is usually 10% or a total 42.

NYR (or maybe NNJR) SCCA has run 54 cars on track at lime rock in one session. I was in it and it wasn't fun! I wish that they would stick to the 42 even in qualifying and practice as it would be much safer! I am curious... do others think we should have more than 42 at lime rock?
