I'll be nice and dry up in T&S :D
What do you mean "up in T&S"? I've seen your car at Stephen's shop for the last month and I thought he was getting it ready for this weekend!Quote:

I'm renting my car out this weekend, so I won't be in the race either... Kind of sux, but I'm looking forward to just being able to relax and WATCH an IT race for a change. :P
It's getting ready, but not for this weekend. Way too hectic to try and pull off a work/race weekend, and way too much stuff to sluff around.
First time on track will probably be the T&T before the April race. After the April Race, no more T&S for me which is both :( & :happy204:
Steve's Neon will be there. He rented it out to someone on the STL BMW board.
Is his name Joe Winkleman by chance? :P
Ill be there (ITB)
but I have nada for rain tyres :mad1:
any tire shops in st louis that carry ra-1s?
The POS 318i will be there and my son in the "FAST" ITA-66 Bimmer. Only issue at the moment is our novice permits!
I was in the same boat when I did this school a few years ago. I just used street tires in the very wet sessions, and exercised caution in the damp ones. It wasn't that bad because I was not really racing.Quote:

A white ITB Scirocco driven by my friend Bob will be there.
Relax?? While someone else is thrashing your car around a track with lots of hard, nasty walls? :P You are a lot calmer that I would be. :DQuote:

Hey Pete, maybe you should give him the whole story on the driver of the "fast" 66 this time around.
Pete,
you are right, Joe is going to run it this weekend. I am finding I am just as nervous either way, renting or driving.
To answer Mike's question, yes I will be there and so will my car, just not together

This Just In:
"On behalf of the S.O.M. for this coming weekend, I am pleased to advise we have changed the schedule for the Sunday regional races and will give our competitors more track time for their money.
We will start at 8:00 with a 15 minute practice session for Group 1, followed by 15 minute practice sessions for groups 2,3 & 4. We will then have a 20 minute qualifying session for groups 1 through 4, followed by the 20 lap Mid-Am Regional Races for groups 1 through 4. As originally scheduled, there will be a lunch break around Noon.
