Why does my RX-7 have a return line off the carb going back to the fuel cell? Why does the return have a one-way check valve inline?
Do I need this additional line?

I'm sure you'll get many different opinions on this, but I'd leave it. It's too much of a pain to get rid of it and should you ever need to swap carbs in a hurry at the track, or break the custom inlet you'll wish all of that stuff was still there.Quote:

My carb had the return line deleted and the carb was dead headed. I never could get the fuel pressure to stay consistant w/o the return line. Of course I had to put all of the stuff back on to do it and spend 8 hours trying to find a new inlet.
Besides, your fuel pump (and wallot) will thank you if you keep the return line operational.
