I get the following message with each notification of a reply to a topic that I'm following:
There may be more replies to this topic, but only 1 email is sent per board
visit for each subscribed topic. This is
to limit the amount of mail that is sent to your inbox.
However, I get a notification for EVERY reply.
What's up?

If you go and read that message, it resets the notification flag.
If you do NOT read that post immediately, say for like a day, then you will not get another notification of a response in that topic until you do. Then, it resets the notification flag...

That's not the way it is working. I get as many notices as there are replies in just a few hours. For example I got a notice for the IT Festival thread for messages 104, 105 and 106 without having been to the site. I get the notices for EVERY message, without regard to the time between them or if I've been to the thread.
I know what you said is how it's SUPPOSED to work, but I'm inundated by update messges.
Any help out there?

I turned mine off...
But I DID feel popular for a few days, LOL..
Heck, junk email is WAY better than junk normal mail...

Ahh, so it's not just me. :024:
May have to do the same.
