  1. Kirk,

We have, in New England, a couple Mk III VW drivers who have been "stirring the pot" lately. Making big ugly scenes in impound and the paddock about driving and mechanical cheating. One driver has left racing due to the confrontation he had with them. I was accused of being dangerous by the driver who takes the award for being the most aggressive crowding, blocking, chopping driver, I've ever had the displeasure of sharing a track with in 25 years.
we've heard some rumors lately from different sources that the cars are not legal, to the point that a knowledgable person could see discrepancies on a casual walk by.

Where I'm going with this is, no one seems to want to write a mechanical protest. I know you had a very fast, very legal Mk III, what would you say are some areas we should highlight in a protest? I have no problem being beaten by a faster legal car or a better driver, but I do have a problem being beaten by a cheater car and/or a nastily aggressive driver.
  2. Kirk,

Could you PM me the "process"? I understand some of it, but would like to see it in writing.

    Thanks!
    Ed
