Question About 13" Tires

Just got back into an IT7 RX7 and am looking for a source for new or good used race tires.
Looks as though the 13" size is now quite hard to find.

Yup. That's why the ITAC allowed all cars to move to 15" wheels and tires.

The IT7 guys up here in New England are running 205/50-15 Nitto NT-01 on 15x7 wheels.

Improved Touring Advisory Commitee. Makes recommendations to the Club Racing Board for regulations changes.

Because of the dwindling supply of 13"/14" it was generally agreed some years ago to allow all classes to have 15" wheels. Widths stayed the same (at that time).

Hoosier and Toyo both make 13" tires still. Most of the ITC guys here in GL Div are running the Toyo's.

Yeah but...hold off on those tire purchases until this 200TW issue is resolved. You don't want to spend money on 13" tires only to have to toss them on 7/1/22.

It will be resolved by the BoD - up or down - at their March (1?) meeting.
