Thanks...

BTW, I am so confused!

4. #14339 (ken stout) Where do we fit in?
In T1, classify the Scion FR-S as follows:

T1 Maximum Displ. Min. Weight Restrictor Engine Notes Chassis
Notes
Scion FR-S
displacement 2500
weight 2750
41mm TIR required
Precision Turbo PTB205-5558B allowed

T1 is the old STO; sounds like someone requested a turbo kit for the car.

We've got a request on our agenda for a supercharger for it in STU...

I found this via google:

http://www.world-challenge.com/images/vts/Scion-FRS-2013-V4-.pdf

Me thinks that SCCA Pro are making allowances FR-S and BRZ's into WC and that is now spilling over to T1. Me = mixed feelings.

good point... almost forgot.

PS. Where the hell do people find a "stock" 2.5L for a FR-S? JDM?

Sounds like an off-the-shelf Subaru WRX engine.

Edit: just remembered, that came to the Super Touring committee first. Yes, it's the World Challenge-spec FRS, Subaru WRX 2.5L turbo engine. We forwarded it to the Touring committee to consider it for T1; guy wants to run it at Mid-Ohio second week of July.

Sounds like STU to me (with lots of caveats)

See edit above. Too many other mods that would be non-compliant in STU (from memory: wing, wheels/tires, brakes, etc).
