D15 Exhaust question

Im almost done with my ITB Civic
just out of curiosity/knowledge

What would be the best (optimal) IT racing exhaust setup??

Anyone has tried with and without resonator

Not minding the decibels..

Ive read 2 1/4" should be the best..True?

Im planning on doing a turnout if needed

I'd recomend 2.25, a resonantor after header, turn toward passenger side, and dump over toward passenger side past the tank.....

What do builders consider a resonantor in the exhaust ?

On an ITB Civic I had a 12" muffler which had a turn down in the middle of the car, and registered around 93-95db (ear plugs!!). I switched to a 16" Borla XR-1 and the sound came down to a much more bearable 86db.
