Are there reasonable enough gains to justify getting an s100
for an ita built d16a6??

i have asked some motorsport companies but they don't always have
first hand experience?

so...

should i run a stock pm6
or hondata s 100/300

thanks in advance

Unless you convert to ODB1 from ODB0, I don't think you can use Hondata on a d16a6 motor. Most folks in IT run stock ecu or megasquirt on ODB0. Ed Funk and/or others would know best. Your other option would to check out www.d-series.org for ECU/wiring options, yet 99.999999% of folks there know nothing about the IT rules set.

What he said. Hondata only works with the OBD1 dizzy/ecu. My ITA CRX has a megasquirt in it currently. Looking at other options though.

Talk to the Acid Beaver at d-series.org.

http://www.d-series.org/forums/members/the_acid_beaver-14805.html

He's got rep with ODB0 engine ecu mods and options.

I haven't burned a chip or tuned yet, but I had a friend put in a zif socket, data logging header and EEPROM into the PM6 ecu. The parts are on xenocron's website, iirc. I think I'll be using turboedit to tune.

I have an old Zdyne ECU for sale. The only thing I don't have is the cable for it. It is easy to make one. I just need to get the pin outs for it.

I've been tuning with turboedit on obd0 since it came out, and its pretty good...

my ita car is currently tuned with it too...
