Congratulations to Nat Wentworth (ITB) for winning the 2013 closed wheel NERRC Masters Cup championship.:smilie_pokal:
Bob Demers (T4) and Ken Payson (STL) were second and third.

To participate in the 2014 Masters Cup, the competitor has to be 55 years old by the beginning of 2014. Competitors can only register during the first three NERRC race weekend and for only one class which can't be changed during the season.
All 2013 registered Masters Cup participants will automatically be registered each year.

Wow, that's cool. I remember signing up but never saw any results so I had no clue. Were there more than 3 of us signed up?

After reviewing all the NERRC result for nth time, I've discovered an error in the tally.
The champion in Closed Wheel is still Nat, but the second place winner is now Ken Payson with 1496 points, pushing back Bob Demers to third place with 1385 points.

The number of participants for the Masters cup were 14 in the Closed Wheels division and 4 in the Open Wheels.

For those of you who missed out on the 2013 inaugural Masters Cup season, ask for an application at registration during the first two NERRC Race. You too can proudly be recognized as a proud "Archaic Flatulence".:blink:
