Am I going crazy, or will the maximum compression ratio be bumped up a 1/2 point next year to 12.5:1? I though I read it in a fastrack, but now I can't find it.

I ordered a set of 12.5:1 pistons, but can add 0.030" to the head gasket and drop it that 0.5 point. I need to know so that I can order the correct head gasket.
Thanks,

Nope, no plans to change compression ratio...don't know where you saw that. - GA

Thanks Greg,

I'll get the thicker head gasket. That's crazy because, E-production has the exact same compression ratio and cam limits, the only differences are h-beam rods and dry sump oil system.

What "same"? 12:1 or 12.5:1?

Rods are free and 3-stage dry sump is allowed in STU.

STU allows replacement rods, pistons and dry sump systems.

you could also shave down your piston tops if it is a domed/pyramid type.

Thanks Eric, I figure that a +0.030 thicker MLS gasket ought to lower the compression by 1/2 a point. At this point I don't want to mill the dome as I'd then have to have the top ceramic treatment redone.
