Susan Coleman passed away Saturday afternoon, August 10, following a stroke over three months ago. She had undergone several surgeries during that time and showed slow improvement. Last week, Susan suffered several severe seizures. After consultation with her neurosurgeon, her family moved her to a hospice in Asheville.
A memorial service will be held for Susan later this month in Hickory, NC., details to be announced.
