Making a decision to build up a batch of headers for our cars. MVS at ISC is no longer making them and is out of stock. If I get a few willing to buy I will do another batch. Price looks like about $350.

Can you build a 12a version as well?

Dan

Sure could. Working with one of my EP guys to get dimensions correct. Would still have the 6 bolt, 2 hole flange outlet. No promise on that, but will see.

Cool, let us know as the RB header is not as good as it could be.

This is a copy of the ISC version right?

Yes, using the same jigs mike used.

what advantage does the 13b ISC have over the RB?

True Equal length tubes, Stainless tubing, Much lighter and radiused bends that flow much nicer.

All the RB ones are very crude and heavy, the bends are way too tight.

Would the headers terminate using the same flange plate as racing beat?

Not relevant. Lenghts can still be different.

I guarandamntee you Steve and ISC's header design for an IT car is better than anything off the shelf.

For the 12a, the flanges and alignment on the ISC header are basically identical to the RB unit. When I swapped over, the ISC bolted right in with no changes. I assume that the 13B from ISC will also drop right in, too.

The advantages are as noted above. I got a non-stainless ISC and, in addition to weighing about half of what the RB header does, I haven't burned out the front tube after three years (~40 races). The RB, despite having twice the wall thickness, would barely make it a year. The ISC header is a first rate piece.

I make it a practice to never talk about anyone elses product on forums so no comparison to racing beat from me.

We have used the ISC headers for many years and I still have one that is over 10 years old. To date I have not seen a legal 13B ITS car make more power than mine (give or take dyno differences) with that header. Mike is doing more Miata work and is not interested in the rotary parts anymore so we are going to make some of the old parts up to keep these cars racing. Most likely will make a few sets with some lighter parts for EP.

Ordering material so just checking interest.

The out flange is in the same place as the RB so it is a bolt up?

We will take qty 2 of the 13B please

PM for payment info, ok?

thanks
Glenn

Got you covered Glen. Same termination for the flange.

same termination good, hopefully very close to the same place in 3D space, so we won't have to modify existing exhaust systems :)

Steve, if possible, can you put us down for 2 of these headers? We have the ISC on our cars and they are THE piece to have.

Big thanks for making a run of these. I had the opportunity to buy a spare few years ago but didn't jump on it early enough. PM for payment, etc. when the time comes.

Hey Steve - How long do you think it will take to fab the headers?

Thanks

Sounds Good Steve, please put me on the list for one as well for a 13b and pm me for payment when it is ready (hopefully end of Sept).

Btw, can the headers come pre drilled for EGT sensors? If not, I can do it myself, just curious...

Same here, 2 for a 12a and 1 for a 13b

Figure the new car needs one too.

If you need any help with the new S car advice is worth what you pay for it. :D
