Agree Jeff from what others have told me in an rx7 with all the stars aligned on the perfect lap you can be very close to 137-139.

The Rustangs didn't even hit that last year. But, this year we've got new motors and new gearing. Screw that 5th gear stuff. I'm hoping for considerably better than our last CMS outing.

Now, Steve aint talking, but I imagine he's the guy who knows the best numbers, as he crews with the Huffmasters, and has probably seen the data.

I really could not tell you with the current car. I did not add the speed sensor to the Stack system with this install. I will pull some data and run it through the gear program and see what we were doing.

With gear program and RPM it gives me 135 2 places at CMS. I would not swear to that as it only takes a small change in RPM to be off. This was also in the draft with a green wedge opening up a hole the size of a tank. :D

hmm just got back from running at charlotte in the rain. my data showed 125.9 going to the stripe. but I know I was going faster in the night race. probably 128 range.
