hans re-cert

I have an older hans and I will be doing my annual in a month or two , do I need to send it off to get certified I heard a lot of talk ahwile back but I am not sure ?

As long as you have an SFI or FIA sticker, regardless of date of certification, you are good with SCCA. NASA requires re-cert every five years, SCCA does not. - GA

Does your Hans have an FIA or SFI sticker now?

You should not have been able to race this year without it.

Like it says above, if they are stickered, don't worry about a re-cert for SCCA purposes (although HANS was pretty efficient when mine was done last year--it originally never had any stickers)
