I know you are tired of me saying this but the place has been rebuilt. New track surface, runoff areas and buildings. Men and womens facilities with showers. Time to race!

New track surface and improved transitions, right? So using the South Course cut off? Might be a good test weekend for the STL car...

New everything, they took the road down to gravel. New curbs and grading. Take the Friday off and grab the Test Day then do the regionals.

Count me in! This will be a whole new Pocono with some very challenging transitions

ok reading the supps im confused about the paddock situation.

Is everything asphalt? are there perimeter areas with grass?
I am usually a tent paddock camper wondering if i will have to make up some concrete anchor blocks to hold my tent.

Is there power available in the paddock?

Thanks!

Any Photos of the new buildings that replaced the "Arca" lounge?

For a place that has invested heavily in their facility, you would never know it looking at their website. No mention of upgrades anywhere.

Wes – Our paddock space has been changed. We should be getting more space by the garages since we lost the usual space. There is another club renting the ‘East Course – Option 2’ (see link below) on Saturday so we need to stay off the grass to keep that area free. There are areas of grass in the paddock but I would not count on getting that, I’d have an alternate plan just in case (the alternate tie downs sounds like a plan). I pitched the tent on our open trailer a few times, which worked well. Try to get there early to get a good spot.

Tom – No photos yet. I have a blueprint of the new building. See here (http://www.scca-nnjr.org/download/NewPoconoLounge.pdf) for that.

Chris – The website is geared toward selling tickets. There is contact information if you want to rent the place, but they contact us in October for what we want for the following year.

We are due to go to the track for an inspection well within the next 2 weeks. We will get photos at that time of all the turns and the new buildings.

See here (http://www.scca-nnjr.org/download/PIRRoadCourse.pdf) for the course descriptions, we are using North / South – Option 2.

There will be power available in certain parts of the paddock ($25 I think) as usual. There will be full hook ups ($55 per day) in the RV parking area from the track (can’t work on your car there). You need to get any power related things from the track at the gate.

I'll be doing an email blast once we get all the information and photos.

That's going to be awkward; that's where a lot of us paddocked. I assume the north end of the asphalt (NASCAR Alley) is still off-limits? What about the parking lot in front of where the lunch counter is?

Really, the only space left after that is the area to each side of the main road, where registration used to be. Even that may be off-limits due to use of the East Course.

We should have access to the center paddock/garage area that was off limits in the past.
