No comments? Have the SEDIV bylaws been amended or ignored?

That was up for discussion at the RE meeting Chuck. It is a conflict and no waiver was granted. I understand it is being worked out. Regions take precedent over the division even though Buccaneer pulls the sanction. Originally Atlanta was going to flip their Majors and SARRC weekend but they kept them the same.

Or the rule against more than one double at a track. Or more than four SARRCS at a track. And so on. Not really sure why we even have the SARRC rules anymore.

So we can ignore them? Like the SARRC rule that causes you to forfeit points if you have metal to metal. That rule isn't enforced.

Trying to make plans, so...when will this problem be solved? Any thoughts?

My bad, it isn't specially for SARRC, but SCCA minimums spelled out here:

http://www.sedivracing.org/2011_Penalty_Guidelines.pdf

If you hit another car the offender is supposed to be DQed in the event one car doesn't continue, or dropped one or two places if the offender does continue.

But don't worry, bang em up mash em up is ruled "a racing incident" most everywhere in the SE under SCCA rules so you won't loose a position or be DQed.

Not what the rule says. It says the stewards should do it on their own.

And you are dreaming if you think it enforced then. Very rare.

Bullshit. It isn't enforced, even when protested. There is plenty of evidence that supports that fact. Stewards seem reluctant to levy penalties at all as the easy button is to rule the incident a racing incident and roll on.

A racing incident is when both parties involved are asked and agree. :023:
