Not a bad grouping, Jerry. Miatas shouldn't be a big issue for the STx crowd, and grouping them this way will encourage SSM/SM2 to double-dip with ITA. STL can double-dip in Prod if desired, and STU can go play in ITE, maybe?

Looking forward to running more Regionals with the new Majors program (yes, I know, that's not 'til '14). Maybe Dan-o will talk me into an occasional IT7 try-out... ;)

As the saying goes, you can't please all the people all the time:D

I confess I don't know what the lap time differential should be between the ITA cars and the Prod cars, but found that at NHMS that the P. cars were faster in the straights and would hold us up in the corners.

I am glad the run groups were posted as this along with what appears to be a diminished ITA field, may be a signal to look into a different class.

ITA is the third largest participation class nationwide behind SM and SRF but we in the Narrc area have not been turning out great numbers for a couple of years so we are the logical place to put the prod cars. These things are cyclical so if we in the A group bring up the numbers again we will earn our own race group.

The Prod guys ran with the Miata group for the last several years.
Towards the end of last season this became a problem as the SM2/SSM group grew.
I understand the speed differences at different places on the track as well (I ran SSM and SM2).
But to be honest, driving a Miata in ITA is as much a challenge as racing with the Prod guys.
Now, that being said and the ITA numbers come back, the Prod guys may be on the move again......

Can anyone tell me who to contact to reserve NERRC numbers?
Purchased my F500 in OCT and since the former owner has retired, I would like to keep the same #........Thanks.

NARRC and NERRC use the same reserved numbers. Contact Rene.
