Good lower cost race earphone alternative

These are high quality earphones that I've used these for two races and have been well pleased with. They are designed for rock concert performance. In my experience they have race noise sound deadening comparable to the earplugs I used to use. A lot cheaper than custom plugs or foamies.

Another nice thing is that if they become dislodged, push on the side of the helmet and they go right back in.
