On a 1.8 RWD (miata) STL car, what should the weight be?

2490
2490.75 lbs
or
2491

almost 100 lbs heavier than SM... yikes.

2430+2.5% = 2490.75, rounded to 2491.

Lot more ponies than Spec Miata, too, as well as bigger brakes, bigger tires, better trans/rear diffs, and rear wing, etc...

remember if you are running STL under SM prep you post the SM weight.

Ah, right; I didn't pick up on that. Dick's absolutely correct: if you keep it completely compliant to the SM specs - including restrictor plate - you're good to go at the SM weight. But remove that plate and now you've got to meet all STL specs, including weight and the 5" ride height. - GA

Oh great, then I just have to put one weight sticker on the car and that will work for SM and STL.

Thanks guys!!

If your car is ITA compliant , you can run at ITA # of 2380

'Zactly. But caveats with SM-into-ITA: SM-compliant diff mods, ride height, head mods, etc can make an SM non-compliant to ITA. Ensure the car is fully compliant to all ITA specs. - GA
