Resource for building trannys, welding diffs, etc

Not quite ready to rebuild our own trannys and/or weld diffs. Who do you all recommend for this kind of work?

For tranny rebuilds I would recommend BrokeVW, depending where you live in Oh, he might not be too far from you.

I second the recommendation for Cameron. Great guy and super knowledgeable about VWs. In my one commercial transaction with him when there was a problem, he completely "manned up" and did more than I would have expected a person trying to make a profit to reasonably do. Note though that this was back in the "Conover Motorsports" days and not since he joined RennGruppe as an employee. But I trust Kirk's continued recommendation...

We do them also. Welded and fresh synchros runs about 800$ if the 5th gear is good.

I have used David Boles at Atlantic Autoworks in Melbourne, Florida..... 321-254-1344... He knows the transaxles, and also races VW's, . Highly recommend him....
