I guess now that I won't be running the Saturn I won't be missin' Pocono. I know most people hated it but I really enjoyed........... but that also might be due to the fact I won the last five races there. :D

I LOVE THIS SCHEDULE. 5 weekends, 4 tracks, nice calendar spread, and no Pocono! My compliments to the organizers. :happy204:

I had planned to target Pro-IT in 2012, but this NARRC schedule is very tempting. I'd like to hear from other ITR drivers on their plans ...

ITR has been very well subscribed in the pro-it so I plan on running that. :)

We (the DC Region Club Racing Committee) are currently trying to finalize the 2012 MARRS schedule. We have a tentative schedule but we have some other events that we are trying to include.
As soon as I have the final schedule I will post it here.

Any news on the TreadZone PRO-IT series? I am itching to figure out what I want to do next season :)

We have the core events locked down but are holding off with any announcements until we get a couple of loose ends nailed down. We planning to have about six events with as much variety as we can get. Our objective is to release the entire schedule at the same time. I told Darrell that we need to get this done before ski season and I will be at Stowe in three weeks. :) http://www.kickenhardware.net/images/smilies/animated/smow.gif :)

0 Gingerman races except for a double national.

The double regional/national at Grattan Aug 11-12 seems odd. Don't usually see a double regional and double national the same weekend. Usually its a single regional/Double national.

Will need to decide how many times to haul down to Mid O next season.

Edit: Oooo just noticed June 8-9 is a regional at Mid O the same weekend Gran Am is running. Another IT-Miata shoot out?

Wow. Best schedule in years. Grattan Memorial weekend is back. Two Grattan regionals. Labor Day weekend at M-O. Looks like the Aug Grattan event is a double regional and single national.

Well, Chad DeHaven (the ITS/ITR rep) and I tried. The motion to have the class moved to the ITA/SRX7/SM5/T3 group for 2012, even on a trial basis, failed with only two votes for.

As a reminder, this decision was made by the Region's Club Racing Committee (http://wdcr-scca.org/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=wsWmp0EEp%2fw%3d&tabid=282&mid=2451), made up of each class driver's rep as well as the chief of each specialty, and it is charged with doing what it feels is best for the race program as a whole, including the race experience of all of our drivers.

Sorry folks. While I am not going to copy the supporting data again, the MARRS BB group is a pretty decent home to the class. If you choose not to run with us due to a different perception, that's unfortunate, but I do understand.

Just got word we can announce a change to our August 18/19 race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. This year it will be a combined MARRS/SARRC double weekend with double CCPS pro series (http://www.carolinacupproseries.com/) running under the lights Saturday night. Big bore will also run at dusk under full lighting for their second race of the weekend.

CCR and the SEDIV are looking forward to racing with our friends in the MARRS series and showing some southern hospitality. We take a break Saturday afternoon and cook a dinner for everyone then turn on the lights and go back racing. :smilie_pokal:

What's this AUG 4-5 at Nelson? That doesn't match up with anything on the NEDIV or even GLD schedules.

Gregg

It's in concert with the Mahoning Valley region and I can only assume that they got the date after the NEDiv website was posted. I'll send an email off to their webmaster to see if it can get added.

MVR's home...er...page seems to confirm the date:
