View Full Version : Another driver suffers a heart attack!

Here's a link to MCSCC web site with a report on what happened at BFR this past Saturday Oct 29th.


Driver is a friend of mine, I've known him for at least 15 years. He has built a number of race cars over the years for himself and others. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. I hope he pulls through and gets back to being himself ASAP!

I heard we lost a driver to a heart attack during the VIR 13 on Saturday, too...

Wait, this is news to me. I was down there too and didnt hear anything about it. Pretty sad. Thoughts and prayers are with his family. Such a shame:(

Wasn't there, but from threads on RRAX that was the reason for for the half-hour Black Flag All early in the day. - GA

One of our crew said she saw the car roll slowly to a stop. Workers pulled the driver out and were performing CPR when she left.
Lots of worse ways to go......:(

Matts a real racer and fabricator. He especially loves american iron. I once raced him in an endurance race where he built a AMC V8 Matador just for the race.
