3rd Gen Race Seat?

Any ideas on fitting a 17" race seat that is not Aluminum into a 3rd Gen RX7? It's a street car on it's way to being a HPDE track toy. Windows have to remain but I can gut the doors and mess with the floor pan if needed. Losing weight to fit a smaller seat is not an option. :) We tried 15" BRIDE Racebuckets and the shoulder wings touch the windows.

I'm 6'2" 205lbs. I have a 17" Recaro in my SM and it's a great fit.

Kirkey Intermediate maybe? there's not much there for wings, but it holds you in there pretty well.

I have Cobra Imola in my third gens and I have another seat that was in our track car. I will get the model off it tomorrow and post it. Very good fit.

Joe--As long as you are willing to mess with the floor, anything can be made to fit.

If you are bigger...go German. Recaro, Konig, etc.

They are better fit for XL(s).

Steve, Are your seats on sliders? Do you have any issues with the windows hitting the seat? How tall and how much do you weigh? Thanks for the advice.
