Anyone has results for race #2 ITA/IT7. Had to bug out early to beat the traffic home. BTY it was nice to see everyone again. Congrats to Geoff B/ITA and Dan Shep/ IT7 for the two race sweep. Nobody had anything for them. Was a lot of fun though. I may need to do this more often.:D

I have them and you were SLOW,even a clapped out RX7 like mine could see you at the end. Thought you were a fast guy, must have been a fluke with that Pole run on saturday.

Great races both times, glad you were back and hope to catch you soon. gonna need a new car for that though.

Here are some videos of the extremely difficult races between
me and Greg Amy in the two STL races at NHMS sunday. (if the
video appears choppy, cycle the HD OFF)

http://vimeo.com/lawtonglenn/videos

In the pm race we traded the lead 4 times, with the other 30
cars in the race providing challenge towards the end

In the am race, our competition brought us both personal
bests, 1:14.683 for me, 1:14.801 for Greg

Also included is a video of the pm race from Bob Blake's car,
which he furiously rebuilt in the 6 weeks since the disastrous
head-on in 11 with Tim Mullen...we were all pleasantly surprised
at how well the frame straightening/welding/reassy went together
and how straight and fast the car went...despite Bob's cautious
driving for its first time out.

After some alignment adjustments between the morning and afternoon
races, Bob picked up almost a full second, showing that he had
rebuilt the 82 car to equal or better than it was before.

Brian Bagnall also furiously rebuilt his car after the 6 weeks ago tangle he
had with the turn 3 tire wall. Also after frame straightening/welding/reassy
he was able to get it all back running fast and straight. Unfortunately Brian
suffered fuel pump problems, causing his car to stumble a bit in the morning
race, and retire early in the afternoon with no fuel to the motor....hopefully
it will just be a loose electrical connection caused by crash, and will be
easily fixed.

except for Brian's fuel pump, a great weekend! :D

Fixed.

Best pair of second place finishes I've had in a long time! :023: And Glenn humbly failed to mention that he is the new Super Touring Light lap record holder at NHMS!
