You have STU & STO listed for the 1 hr race, not even an enduro, but on ITR...what's with that?

I'm with Dan on this one..........why exclude ITR in the 1hr? STO and STU should be WAAAAAAY faster than ITR. I really don't have a dog in this but think it is wierd. I have seen other races such as the possible upcoming regional with grand am exclude ITR . Some one in this region that has an ITR car must of pissed someone off! Getting back to the 1hr....ITR being to fast cannot be used as an answer with STO or STU there. Feel for you Dan.

I don't know why ITR was excluded, but STO is not eligible for the enduro.

We are looking into the reason ITR was excluded. Probably just a typo that managed to get past everyone.

Our chief Steward replied thusly:

"The GCR Committee just made a recommendation to the CRB to allow the Chief Steward to make corrections to the Supps in cases of errors and omissions. I have no problem adding ITR to the Enduro."

So bring out your ITR's and have at it. :eclipsee_steering:

Dan,
look at the supps.....you can run regional race in group 1. Do not see an option for anyone to just run the enduro without running a sprint race.

I'd rather run the 1 hr. race for $50 ;~)

A few more for the pot. Myself and (possibly) two friends will be coming down. ITA CRX Si and two ITS Datsun 240Z's.

I'm a newb and never ran on Mid Ohio yet....this looks like a great event to start out at though.

Not sure if I can swing missing work on that Friday for the PDX or if I want trial by fire without the PDX or a test n tune day first.

I'm planning on the IT Fest later in the summer for sure.

With $5.00/gallon gas prices, you may be the only one! :o

Nah! Gas prices will only be ~$4.75/gallon by then. So you gotta come on out and get two races in early to keep your SCCA license before the REAL price hikes hit later in the summer. :D

It is worth it if you can make the pdx. Mid Ohio has several blind corners so it'd be helpful to learn the track during the pdx. not necessary, just helpful

I don't think we've made it very obvious, but these are 15 lap races Saturday and 19 laps on Sunday. Also, teams for the WOR Games Team Championship can be registered with the Registrar on Friday night, or at garage 1 on Saturday morning right up until Group 1 starts racing. The theme for this year's championship event is "Cops and Robbers." NEOhio won the trophy the last time.

I just received this info from Steve Bidlack (Director - The Mid-Ohio School).

Subject: Get additional track time at Mid-Ohio on May 20

The Mid-Ohio School is offering an Open Testing & Tuning - Twilight Session (http://www.midohio.com/School/Courses/Racing-Programs/Test---Tune-Sessions) on Friday, May 20. This is perfect for scrubbing some tires, calibrating the brakes and fine tuning your race car. Each group will receive at least three 20-minute sessions of track time (approx. 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. run time). Price is $195. Those entered in the WOR SCCA event can enroll for a special price of $150 through 5 p.m. EDT on May 19 by using promotional code WORMay11. Use code online (http://www.midohio.com/Store/School-Courses/Racing-Programs/Open-Testing---Tuning/05-20-11-Open-Test-Tuning-Twilight) in the coupon code box in Step 1 of 8 of the enrollment process.

To see all the racing programs The Mid-Ohio Schools offers, please visit http://www.midohio.com/School/Courses/Racing-Programs, click on the course you’re interested in, and then click on “Enroll Now!”. For your convenience, you may also call 877-793-8667.

Additionally, other SCCA competitor exclusive Open Testing & Tuning Twilight sessions (http://www.midohio.com/Store/School-Courses/Racing-Programs/Open-Testing---Tuning) will occur on July 29 (preceding Cincinnati Region SCCA weekend), September 2 and October 7 (both preceding OVR SCCA weekends). These are already specially priced at $150 for SCCA racers when ordering by 5 p.m. EDT the day prior.

All Novice permit holders. You are welcome to run the WOR Games. I received an email from a Novice asking if people who just completed a driver school are welcome. I guess somewhere in the supps or on the website or registration site we have worded something poorly. Sorry about that!

Rest assured Novice permit holders that you will be permitted to race!
