MSD on 1st Gen

I am thinking about putting a MSD 6a on my 81 Rx7. Was wondering if anyone has done this, and if so what kind of gains or advantages they saw from doing this.

Starts instantly,idles better,allows you to do a coil on plug setup,

Run on leading ignition only.

How much HP do you think you gain from this?

The HP numbers arent that signifcant. its the drivability that you get.

We never checked the HP increase but the car felt better comeing off the turn as the mixture is super rich from the accel pump. It lites the fire better I feel.

The interwebs say it worth between 0 and 1000 horsepower. Sorry I dont have the answer.
