What would I need to convert my 82 itb mustang from power steering to manual?

Seeing its a Ford, you may need the bottom of the column besides the obvious parts.

Actually, it's very easy. Pull the pump, lines, and rack, and just replace the rack. It will disconnect from the steering column at the left side motor mount.

Disadvantage: Steering ratio is greatly reduced.

Hope this helps.

So the manual rack will bolt in place of the p/s rack with no other parts changes

I'm thinking of putting in a flaming river manual rack, better to use 15:1 or 20:1, & what to use for mounting bushings

I don't know what a "flaming river" rack is, but note that to the rules only factory parts (or exact OEM equivalent) are allowed... - GA

Flaming River racks are popular Ford performance racks but are not OEM. Manual steering is 20:1 so that is the only option that you have, and an OEM rack as well to remain legal.
