I thought I was in for 20 minutes of questions. 14 seconds later, I'm done.

That was the best set of questions they could come up with? Really?

And the second biggest problem: apathy

I think I'm asking a legitimate question here, if you are going to send a survey out then you should ask a more comprehensive set of questions. You only get one or two chances to engage people. But on second thought you're right, I'm not really asking a question, I'm just complaining about the barn door being open after the opportunity has already been wasted.

Okay to add a little value here are the questions I thought they might ask:

How many national races did you run last year?
How many do you plan to run this year?
Why do you even hold a national licence if you don't run national races?
What would encourage you to run more national races?
What factor is most important in determining which national races to enter?
Do yo have any interest in a weekend schedule that includes fewer pratice/qualifying sessions and more race sessions?

How many regional races did you run last year?
How many do you plan to run this year?
What would encourage you to run more regional races?
What factor is most important in determining which regional races to enter?

Do you think we should increase or decrease the number of national classes?
A subset of questions designed to understand how the MAJORITY of license holders feel about class consolidation?
A subset of questions designed to understand how the MAJORITY of license holders feel about adding new classes, which kinds should be added.

Do you think it is a good idea encourage national races to run pro series races?

What is your annual racing budet?
Maybe a better question would be how much did you spend last year?
Do you plan to buy a new race car this year, If so, why?
Do you plan to stop racing, if so, why and what could change your mind.
