there's much debate on 4.7 vs 4.9.... I believe the general thoughts for non-Vtec is 4.7.

You have to run a 4 speed in C, right? Check with Jinx Jordan or Meg Meyer, but i don't think I'd run steeper than 4.7.

Ed--We actually built Meg's car. The problem is for this car, the owner does not want to run the small 13(s) for tires--because he can get my used 14(s) for almost nothing.

I cried when I saw Meg's car at the Glen during last chance weekend as it is all "lumpy" from various incidents.

:023:When we ran the car in ITC, with 13's, the 4sp tranny had a 4.7fd. This combo ran fine at VIR, CMP, Lowes, RA & RRR, just used 3rd & 4th all the time. Now we're in ITB, with 14's a 5sp and now a 4.9fd.
