Hi everyone,

Well another I.T.FEST in the books. After reading some of the posts it seems the main issue was the food on Saturday night. Not that it wasn't good but there wasn't enough. I must apologize for that. The party is becoming a must do event and I was surprised as anyone that we went through 250 servings of food that quickly. By the time the girls came around to let me know things were getting short it was too late to do anything but apologize. http://www.roadraceautox.com/images/smilies/frown.gif And make more pasta. Hopefully everyone did eventually get something to eat. Note to make servings for 350 next year. On the other hand we did pop open another keg. And had birthday cake for our pit chief along with a blow up Hooter Girl that looked a lot like Milka n' Dunots. http://www.roadraceautox.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif I did hear she was in pit lane Sunday greeting those visiting the Black Flag Station and made an appearance at the Formula Car display for a photo op late Saturday night.

The weather was as about as perfect as your going to get on a weekend in July/ August and the starts from the pro stand looked to go off without too much contact. I don't think anyone went in the beach on a race start? And the starts seemed popular with the multitude of spectators in the esses. I think at one point there was well over 350 on the hill and rivaled anything I've seen at a Grand-Am race lately. http://www.roadraceautox.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

I tried to visit as many folks as possible but as usual it was way to little for what I like. I did get to talk to Terry Gilvin and hope to get Hoosier back on board for the 25th next year. So if you find the time to contact Tim and Terry Gilvin with Hoosier to let them know how important their support is to this event I would appreciate it.

Next up is the big 25th anniversary event in 2011. Suggestions on a race format groupings, Pro I.T. race? and any leads to sponsor contacts welcome.

I hope to have info on the date soon. IRL is supposed to be moving from their Mid Ohio date for next year which may be an issue to us. But word is the Baltimore race is up in the air since the track is around Camden Yards and the rumored 2011 MLB schedule shows a home stand for the Orioles that same weekend. Best Regards,

Cincinnati Race Chairman and now back to just plain Todd the F & C guy for another year.

Todd: Thank you and all of the Cincy region members who worked so hard to put on a good weekend for us drivers. All you have to do is get rid of all those crazy ITB drivers! LOL.

BnS Racing and Race-Keeper will sign on again to provide water for impound and we will have more water for the workers! Please apologize to them, put it was a last minute thing. Only one thing, you'll have to provide the transportation to get it up to MO. My tired old van really struggled pulling the trailer and all that water!

See you at MO this weekend.

Great event again Todd. Please keep the IT-Spec format, don't turn it back into a regular double regional. Keep the back straight start stand and run the club course, not the pro course.
