I'm shopping for fire systems (already decided on one after reading Charles Espenlaub's article in Grassroots Motorsports: http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/articles/fighting-fire/) and I'm not sure if I should go with a driver actuated system or an automatic actuated system. Are most folks using and driver actuated system or an automatic actuated system (w/ driver manual over ride)?
Folks with a fire system please include: make, model, extinguishing material type, no. of nozzles and their location. Also include if the system is SFI 17.1 or FIA approved.
