I'm trying to get down to MARRS race at Summit on the 24th of April. I'm in Baltimore. Where and/or what is the best way and best price to purchase some Hoosiers and still have enough time to get them mounted and balanced?
Also, I have a set of Hankook Venturas R2 with 80% still on them. I use them for track days, classes, etc. Would these be a good rain alternative?
I run 225 50 16.

Radial tire Co., Silver Spring Md 301-585-2740 ask for Paul (owner)
Hoosier R6 225 50 16 (TireRack price) 219.00
BFG Comp R1 225 50 16 (TireRack price) 172.00
I ran the R6 in 2008, i switched to the BFG Comp R1 for 2009.
My vote, BFG Comp R1.

Thanks for the info. Paul won't be back until Monday. Rob43, you are the first I've heard that prefered a tire over the Hoosiers. Any details why? What kind of times are being put down at Summit Point?
