Header interchange?? 2002 -E30 M10 engine

I can find a header for the 2002. Will it fit my 84 318M10??
Come on Chuck, tell me.

It will if it's an 8 valve E-12 head. That's the factory replacement head for all the 2002s. E-12 should be stamped on one side.

It should clear the frame?? TIA. Ebay shows the same # for both cars. I always trust the Ebay interchange... MM
