ITC Scirocco Stolen-Jacksonville, FL 1/16/10

My car and enclosed trailer were stolen from (gated, security code access!) storage lot in Jacksonville FL today. Below are photos. Perp had alleged accomplice (who has access code) go in front of him, then followed him back out once trailer was taken. Perp may know a 41 YO black male with last name of Sapp)

Trailer is 2009 20 foot Trailmaster, white with heavy dirt stains on left side only. Last seen being pulled by 97 or so white Ford Diesel Dually, with custom silver side steps and visor and dented tailgate. Witness said driver appeared to be a heavy set, white male.

Doubt the morons knew what was in trailer; hope they haven’t burnt her to a crisp yet. Contact Jacksonville Sherriff's Office Auto Theft at 904-630-2173 (case 40441)

Barry I live in op and will keep an eye out for that truck. I have a delivery route thru out jacksonville so I get around. anyway you can e-mail a larger pic of the truck and trailer? also i'm curious which storage place was the trailer stored at? feel free to pm me if you don't want to make the name public.

Really? I'd love to find out more history, but you got to find your car first. They even look alike now. Mine was registered to Edward Tinsley at one time and got "rebodied" in '94.

Charles, we actually met at Moroso a few years back. I had an red 944, think you were racing a Prelude in ITS? I sold the 944 and bought the Scirocco about 2 years ago. We have a lead on the guy that was ahead of the truck (and used pass code) both in/out of lot. However, when JSO spoke to him yesterday, he "didn't know nuttin bout no trailer and no truck".

that's right, I remember. I now have a 280zx. Prelude kept breaking. I still have it though, just needs a good solid motor.
I hope you get somewhere, people who steal stuff suck! I had my boat trailer and car trailer stolen. Cut chains and knocked off my trailer lock! Good luck.

Thanks, but police have identifed the guy that let the thief in and out and have interviewed him. Of course, he knows nothing about the truck following him in and out. Right now, police have advised there is nothing they can do until they get more on him, since he claims to know nothing. Need to send him to Gitmo, surely there are some out of work waterboading specialists willing to help.
