KUMHO was not part of the SCCA contingency program announcement, so it's anyone's guess at this time.

Hankook was out of the picture. If Kumho is the only player that will make my decision to run something else easier!

The BFG contingency is National-only. I'm planning on running some STU races this year, to qualify to run the I.T. car at the Road America SCCA Runoffs.

How is the availability, Phil? I'd hate to switch then not be able to get tires consistently.
Any thoughts about comparison with Hoosier?

No that will be me that will need the hook:eek: I figure if I can get into the mid 18's at Nelson this year I will be very happy:happy204: Then it will be time for a final drive change and to build a motor.

Chris - that little neon has some power down the straights! But take it from Rick and his famous quote from the beginning of this year "If a neon ever beat me, Id put my car in to the tire wall" LMAO! :D

jay - you staying with the 710's this year? I heard you might be switching to Hoosier's. I was going to switch to Hoosier's but the determining factor was the continuing contingency from Kumho.

I have a basement full of kumhos and their contingency works at all our events. The only reason I would switch was to get the better gear ratio. Can't justify it.
