Hi everyone,

Thanks for the great weekend! We can't do it without all of your participation.

Great turn out 170 entries. Attrition took its toll on Saturday as we had about a dozen cars drop out due to various mechanical issues.

ITDC stickers were distributed to 75 I.T. cars in ITA, ITB, ITC, ITR and ITS.

23 states were represented and for the first time some international talent arrived in the form of James Winslow from Sydney, Australia. Winslow rented a KME SRF to get some seat time for the upcoming ALMS/IRL weekend. He's now the only Australian with a Cincy Region Membership Number and an I.T.SPEC*tacular T-Shirt. http://www.roadraceautox.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif BTW, he lives about a 1/2 hour from one of my favorite V8 supercar tracks...Oran Park. I may have to visit soon.http://www.roadraceautox.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Thanks to all the sandboxer's for allowing me to sample the I.T.Fest brew party. Some great stuff , and Joe the Yuengling ( I hope I spelled that right?) was great. http://www.roadraceautox.com/images/smilies/drink.gif

Congrats to Tom Lamb and Ed Funk for winning Two Free Hoosier Tires in the Hoosier Midwest give away. Tom also won a raffle for a 2010 Race entry. Unfortunately Ed banged the car ( and himself ) up Saturday. I was glad to see him ( gingerly) moving around on Sunday.

I hope everyone had a great time.

Tentative date confirmed by Mid Ohio tonight is July 30th-Aug 1st, 2010.
Running the club course.

Warm Regards,

Todd Cholmondeley
Cincinnati Race Chairman

Todd: Let me be the first to thank you and the Cincy Region for putting on a first class event. You went over the top with the open air showers on Thursday and Saturday night, however :-)

BnS racing struggled the whole weekend first with a power steering line failure and then diagnosing a malfunctioning motor (either head or head gasket). But I had the fastest three cylinder there!!!!!!

The better news is that on the way home, all the crew chief would talk about was what we are going to do to make the car faster. What a blessing when you've got that kind of support for your passion.

Thanks, too for posting the tentative date for next year, so that the IT SPECtacular can be an even bigger success.

Thanks to all the workers who but in so many hours, both at the track, and ahead of time. The program was great!!!

I hope that everyone had as great a time as we did.
