Hello all,

I am finally getting around to aligning my 1979 ITC Rabbit. Have gotten a number of ideas, including information from the paperwork that came with the car.

Anyway, I run Hoosier R6s which are, of course, "camber challenged" so I figure I should be pretty agreesive.

Anyone have ideas for a good alignment.

As much camber as you can in the front, with a little bit (1/8" or 3/16") of toe out in the front.

Not much you can do with the rear, except for shims, if you have them.

Also do the corner cross weights if you have adjustable spring perches.

Great. Thanks. I was getting a number of different opinions and this information you provided actually is consistent with the advise I got that, in the case of the car owned by the person giving the advise, seemed to work really well.

1/8" of toe out in the front with 2.5 - 3 degrees of negative camber. The back end of those cars is really just along for the ride. I always found sway bar changes made more impact on handling than diddling w/ camber or toe.
