Wow, you guys are fling this weekend at VIR.......Kips 944? running 2:13.5....Saturday...any other classes records fall??

I tried my best to lower the ITB record today. I was able to do it in qualifying, but came up a few tenths short in the race. :( I think that I heard mention of some other records that fell this weekend...just don't remember which ones.

David, Kip was running his car as a 944S2 in ITR....so Chet's old ITS record in the E36 remains.

When are we going to see you out at the track??

HI Jeff!!!!

I wanted so bad to go to VIR this weekend....but I'm just a few weeks from action...Road Atlanta is end of month, hopefully by then. Rebuild delayed by a done blowed up CRX..... just kidding Mike.... But will be ready to roll.

Good reminder for me to be patient.....on and off the track.....and that Beer cans and Panzers don't mix......

Beer cans (or leaky brit shit) v. Panzers, I agree, not a fair fight.

I will miss Road Atlanta, but hope to see you at VIR in the fall, or maybe Birmingham on Labor Day weekend?

ITA races were ok. I ended up with both wins, but took home bunch of body damage courtesy of spinning lap cars, and then on Sunday Chris using me as his brakes on the last turn in roller coaster.

Great ITR time I would think.....Hard to top for a while.
I wrongly assumed that Kips car was running ITS.....

Hmm..wondering if this is same car from last year, trying to keep under the radar running it ITR ???

Here's my qualifying video from Sunday's race. HD and using DashWare to overlay the DL1 data. 2:17.6 in ITA with a couple of mistakes made and being held up in one braking zone. Need another trip there to hit 2:16s as this was the first time there in my car.

Spoke to Kip at Roebling. He said it is the same 944 that he ran (or atempted to run) in ITS. With the VIN rule change all he had to do was change the motor and a few other small bolt on pieces to make it a 944S2.

Yeah, I ordered the camera yesterday. Already have everything else. I also ordered a UV filter too just to protect the lens if anything.
